Carpet cleaning
Deep cleaning of carpets and rugs in your offices, entrance halls and reception areas across the Paris region.
Professional carpet and rug cleaning
Over time, carpets and rugs build up dust, dust mites, allergens and ingrained stains that affect indoor air quality and the appearance of your premises. Atlantis, a professional cleaning company based in the Paris region (Île-de-France) since 2000, offers a carpet cleaning service suited to different types of textile floor covering: synthetic fibres, wool, blends and needle-punched carpets.
Our main method, spray extraction, involves spraying a cleaning solution into the fibres under pressure and immediately extracting it together with the dissolved dirt. This deep-cleaning process removes a large proportion of the bacteria, dust mites and allergenic particles in the textile. For water-sensitive carpets or areas that need to dry quickly, we use dry encapsulation cleaning: a crystallising foam traps the dirt, which is then vacuumed up, leaving no residual moisture.
We work in offices, hotels, residential buildings, building entrance halls, conference rooms and retail spaces throughout the Paris region. Every job starts with an assessment of the fibre type and how soiled the carpet is, so that we can choose the most suitable procedure. After cleaning, we can apply a protective stain-repellent treatment that makes day-to-day maintenance easier and extends the life of your textile floor coverings.

Frequently asked questions
How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?
With spray extraction, carpet generally takes between 2 and 4 hours to dry completely, depending on the pile depth and how well the room is ventilated. With dry cleaning, the carpet can be walked on straight after the job. We can set up fans to speed up the process if needed.
Does carpet cleaning get rid of dust mites and allergens?
Yes, high-temperature spray extraction removes a large proportion of dust mites, their droppings and the allergens trapped in the fibres. We recommend cleaning every six months for sensitive spaces such as nurseries, care homes for the elderly (EHPAD) or offices that receive members of the public.
What types of carpet can you treat?
We treat the main textile floor coverings: synthetic-fibre carpets (polyamide, polypropylene), wool and wool-synthetic blends, and needle-punched, tufted or woven carpets. Each material has its own procedure, chosen so as not to damage it.
